Just a note or two regarding the 49-53 Loadamatic distributor with Vacuum only advance???

As this is a vacuum only distributor advance the diaphrahm must be working perfectly. Has two springs moving a point plate against "venturi vacuum| NOT manifold vacuum. Carb adjustment must per perfect as well to provide proper degrees of advance when needed.Springs are hooked to off center pins for adjustment...Carb usually gives .5 to 3 inches of venturi vacuum....
