Ha ha Frank, when I first read this post two days ago, the first thing I thought about was our dilemma at the EFV-8 Club's WNM last October in Bakersfield, Ca. One very good way to learn how to remove the locked cover on a '36 rear mounted spare, if you've never owned a 36 Ford before, is to have a flat tire while driving one. Then after figuring out how to unlock the spare, we realized there was no jack in the car. After getting that resolved, we found the spare was missing some of the spring clips that hold the hubcap on the wheel, so we left that hubcap off, only to have everybody and their brother inform us that we had lost a hubcap. A fun trip for sure!! Have you ever noticed that every time we get together, crazy stuff starts to happen. LOL
