'32-35 have the long spindle up front...'36 has short spindle. It has same bolt pattern as '32-5, but spindle length same as '37-48. So, I think, you would use a bearing spacer on the '32 just as with a hydraulic conversion. Would '36 drum then have its working surface too deep to fit '32? I do believe it is a deeper drum then the earlies or the '37-48's. I think...this is all getting confusing! At any rate, '36 spindles are oddballs.
