Thank you for the help and information.

It's interesting that the steering box, on such an early car, with all the early
features, doesn't have a weld seem. Maybe someone ground / filled the seem
to make it look nicer.
Hopefully the new revision will have a date on the change from the 2 piece
too the one piece steering box. I do have a call into a Senior Judging Standards
member with the question
