Default Re: The Passing of Jerry Wilheim

Thank you Marc for sharing that with us. I suppose it is only the 'old ones' that know the impact that Jerry made on the Model A hobby. It has often been said that without the little 'spark plug', the entire engine, the entire car, runs poorly, if at all. And for our Model A hobby and for the national Model A clubs, Jerry was one of many 'spark plugs' necessary for the smooth running of our hobby.
He is one of a great many of the 'older', 'First' generation Model A hobbyists that are, like the WW11 veterans, now dying off.
Sadly I know a great many of my friends and acquaintances (as well as myself) who are now 'giving the last full measure of their effort'.
