If you have a shop manual, there are pics in it of the fresh aire eaters. 51 and 52 are almost identical, but there are differences in the flexible duct and control between the heater and the duct on the sidewall. If you go this route, try to find a complete unit, as they are getting scarce. You could use the earlier ( 48-50 ) unit if you are not concerned about correctness. These appear on Ebay more than the 51-52's.
The recirculating heaters were sold thru the dealer network. there are several different versions. A lot were the 3 door style that was used in the earlier years cars and trucks. Seems to be more of these around. You also see many that were Sears, Montgomery Wards, Western auto, Firestone to name a few.
