Can anyone tell me how the fuel bowl is vented on a 97. Mine seems to not want to accept fuel. It will take on fuel from a electric pump when the engine is not running and then when I start it up it will run just fine until it runs out of fuel. The moment the engine stops the fuel bowl will fill back up and it will start right up and burn the fuel till its gone. I can watch this happen through the clear fuel filter that I have inline. I also notice the fuel filter is never filled with fuel, it is half air all the time. The float is set as it should be. It just seems that there is pressure in the bowl that prevents the fuel flow into it when the float drops. I have tried the needle style and the grosse valve with the same results ? Any Ideas ??? Its driving me crazy!
