Mr. "T": Really glad you had success. You mention of the 1 inch bolt was the needed clue. Those style kits are hard to find so don't throw them away. New parts could be water jet cut and welded together. If you need new hollow sleeves they can be easily made on a lathe.Those exact shock kits are no longer being made. Before you reassemble them paint them with a high quality paint and use anti seize on all threads. You may find it a little difficult to line up the radius rod bolt holes with the backing plate, but don't give up. Use a drift punch as a lever and don't tighten all the bolts until all bolts are in position. New forged kits are for sale on Fordbarn. Here ya go.

You may find the style you have for sale on Ebay once in a while, but usually they are missing some of the parts so pay attention. If you have deep pockets look at this:
