The real key may be in the answer to post #2. DID YOU REMOVE THE DRUMS YET? If you haven't removed the drums yet the reference to two nuts and two bolts in post 4 may indicate that there have been "safety hubs" installed to keep the wheel from coming off in case of an axle failure. I also wonder about your reference to 1" bolts in post #4, do you mean diameter or head size. Pictures are good.
