Back in 1988 after I had finished a frame off restoration of my 1931 Slant Windshield 4 Door Sedan my wife and I did a tour of Big Bend National Park and parts of the Chihuahuan Desert. This was in the off season and most days we only passed one or two cars on the road the whole day. On the second day I pulled off the road into gravel to take some pictures and 15 minutes later found two flat tires on off road side. I did have the rear spare and luckily a patch kit but it was over 110F and almost passed out during the time it took to replace one tire and patch the other. Found large cactus needles in both tires and had to run my fingers on the inside of the tires to Feel the needle tips. Here we are 28 years later and plan another trip to Big Bend with the same Model A. There were no cell phones at the time but it would not make any difference as cell service out there is spotty to non existent but this time we are taking family along. I doubt, at my age, I could duplicate the past experience without having a stroke!
Thus the question on using a Model A Jack....
