80# is correct, but I have always been baffled by the gauge reading 0 30 80?
I say it should be 0 40 80. I been through a dozen senders and none match
my mechanical gauge Ex.- my mechanical gauge reads 45# hot and dash units reads
below 30#. So back to the cabinet. I try a sender that I know was from a 1970s
Dodge 318 / 360. Perfect: now the dash gauge reads between 30 & 80 ( 0 30 * 80)
I have no part no. or the box for this sender but its not like the Ford or hat, its
almost 3 inches tall same tread but nut instead of screw for the wire. sam
