My understanding is that Bonded works better with cast drums and woven works best with steel, I use bonded on my Slant Sedan with cast and they stop perfectly and use woven on my Roadster with steel which also stops very well but do fade, not a real problem because the Roadster is not used much and when it is I am very aware of this and drive accordingly
