Just to let your pal know, you can't just "plug in a full-flow system" without modifications to the block and oilpump -- there is no "out" and "in" ports . . . both those ports go to the same place. And you can't just dump it back to the pan - first of all because that isn't "full flow", secondly - because you'd loose a ton of oil pressure. Just wanting you to know the oiling system. Have your buddy lookup '95%' oiling system for a flathead - these setups are almost full-flow, just not the rear main.

The typical way to achieve 100% full-flow is to modify the oil-pump so NONE of it goes through it's normal path into the block, but exits to a special/new line out the side of the pan (oil pump mods required). Then, you take this line through your full-flow setup and into one of those two ports you mentioned. This gives 100% full-flow.
