I've got a 6V Optima in my 38 Ford and a 12V Opitma in my 49 Dodge and they are both great. Good cranking power and clean. My only problem with the one on my Ford is it is much smaller than the original, so I had to modify my hold-down strap. I think they also have "Ford" looking covers that can be slipped over them, but I haven't checked into that option.
