Have you looked in the owners instruction book---it depends on the temperature

I only have a 1937 listing--
above 90 degrees--- 50wt
100-30 degrees --- 40wt
65--20 degrees--- 30wt
50--0 degrees--- 20 or 20W
30-- minus 15---- 10 or 10W
-10 or lower --- 10wt + 10% kerosene


From this listing it would appear that 5W 30 would be good from 65 degrees down to well below freezing
