No. Apparently I am confusing a Steering 'Damper' that I once had (which I thought was called an 'Easy Steer') and attached to my front axle, putting tension on to the parallel steering rod behind the axle. If what I have described is what we are talking about, then Yes, I found that it worked for me for several years.

But when you say "Steering Box", then I with draw my comment, as I fear that I have confused the unit I had (which was most definitely NOT a 'box') with another device that Hewe, Post # 1 was asking about. If it is a "steering box" Hewe is asking about, and not a 'steering damper', then I know nothing about it.

Once again, sorry for the confusion.
