The only thing I was disappointed about when I lived there was their St Pat's Day parades, except in Dublin, for the tourist, ya know!!!, hardly a raised eyebrow anywhere else but it was a great day for a pint or two.

BTW, travelled in and around Northern Ireland also, almost but not entirely the same atmosphere.
