I have used U-Haul a few times for different reasons without problems. When I reserved the trailer to bring the Tudor home, the U-Haul agent told me its weight and that it would be no problem.

Here is our Tudor outside our appraiser's house while on its way to our place. Note we did not use the U-Haul straps but substituted four tie downs instead.

Before anybody makes a smart remark, the red tie down is not holding on the spokes, but is just passed through to allow the excess to be wrapped around the bumper.
