I don't think the luggage looked like your momento of your old college days, they were usually flat-topped to drop into the trunk. The luggage pieces did look small compared to modern ones, perhaps Packard owners travelled light back then.

Yes, I remember those uppity-up college boys who drove daddy's Duisenberg's and Packard's, they had all the good looking rich college babes during the day, I had them at night!!!!
