Default Re: Pin stripping paint

I've been a striper for over 58 years and have used One Shot almost from day one, right out of the can most of those years. I add a drop or two of Smoothie to the paint to eliminate Fish Eye. It comes 1/2 oz. cans. Will keep for years and goes a long way if sealed. I personally close the lid when I'm done with the paint then store it upside down.

If you have to mix colors to get what you want, mix a couple of drops of colors and paint some passes onto a clean piece of acetate (lots of packaging comes in that so you wouldn't have to go out a buy it). KEY;;; Let it dry overnight on the acetate and hold the acetate over the desired color for a match. It's a good idea to mix several combinations of colors, keeping a list of how many drops are used to create each.

I've mixed One Shots in my sign business for all those years...

Happy Striping.................
