Hi Brian,

I rebuilt two B carbs recently using methods from the book "Restoring The Model 'A' and 'B' Carburetors - The 'Rex' Reheis Way" By Gordon Biggar. I highly recommend it. I did not have to remove the GAV housings on mine but the book shows how. New housings can be made from Zenith A housings by removing the threads with a lathe. The power tube is easily replaced, Renner's can supply an exact replacement or you can use brass tubing from a hobby supply shop. I had to buy a special jet tap to clean out some of small threads.
