As Kevin says, Ford Dagenham [ UK] used a red enamelled script emblem on the small Fords, but also on some of their commercial vehicles with B/BB or V8 engines in the mid '30's.
Canada used a very dark blue enamel for 1928 only, but then went to dull nickel plate [ s/s in '31]until 1932 when blue enamel like US production was used.
