This may or may not be the last car your neighbor will collide with after his most embarrassing experience; but, if he is the contrite type to ring your door bell, can anyone imagine the level of sincere guilt within that he feels.

Most importantly, thanks for your sharing this learning experience in life, and taking the time to post your experience ...... it is not only most educational, but it can remind us all that even though there is no safe place to park our Model A, we should always strive to search for the safest parking place available; and also be cautious while backing up ...... at our age, we have already experienced that: "our necks don't flex" like when young.

I backed into my youngest son's car not too long ago; and my oldest son backed into my wife's van not too long ago ...... our very calm insurance agent made us all feel maybe slightly less guilty when he told us that we were very normal humans and that accidents will "always" happen to everyone in life -- and that's why they offer accident insurance.

Five (5) years or less from now, this incident will appear minor ....... hope this helps .... and thanks again for sharing your experience.
