M&S went out of business for a good reason. Their reproduction and rebuilt shocks were junk. Unfortunately, I know this from personal experience.
If that arm came off, I would bet there is a problem in the press fit area of the arm and shaft and it will likely come off again even if Loctite is used. Sorry to be so negative, but I think you need to seek a better fix.
