I didn't like Windows 8 when it first came out, but once I used it for a week and got the hang of it, it is a great and stable operating system. Never used Windows 8.1 but I have to ask, Why do you have to learn a new system every time MS comes out with a new version? If the OP was using Windows 7 shouldn't he be able to use Windows 8, or XP , Windows 98 or whatever other MS OS is out there?
