Jim, My understanding is that Dave and Marcy Cella worked to assure that the new mufflers had the early '28 bend in them. The one on A495 is one of the Aires 1928 version mufflers.

Steve, when I bought a totally dissembled A7191 from Mick Isbell it had an original muffler with it. Unfortunately that muffler was rusted in half. The front half and the back half were fine but they were halves. You may want to contact the current owner, Mark Maron, and see if he will take any photos of it for you.
