No and neither did the others. Just put some mileage on the water.
Did have some other issues though. Jackson Kong built a prototype distributor that ran off the front of the engine. First time it fired was a few days before the trip. We had a "B" distributor sticking up between number 2 and 3 exhaust as you can see in first pic. I was convinced that the problem was with new ignition but I could not convince Wes Cooper or Kong of it. After the fourth loss of power we found the problem. Dirt in the fuel line-always the case.
