The choke bracket is missing but I will check where it was. I believe it is near the back edge toward the seat.

C26 - I am trying to find photos of the car when it was originally built into a hot rod. I'd like to try to piece together its time line.

Stew, I have another tank that is stamped, I am pretty sure this one is missing it. But I don't want to dig into the old paint to look any deeper as the whole car has a nice general aging to it.

I believe it ran on the dry lakes in southern California but for sure was in that area in the 40's. I found some Los Angelas Feb 1946 newspaper in the body.

Could a body assembled in Twin Cities (TC) have sold in California?
