Re: 30 grille shell

Don't have his number on me but I bet someone else on here can list it. You want to call Doug Bruce in New York. He's the go to guy for Model A stainless pieces. All are restored originals and look...

Re: Soon to be a Model A owner

Hi from Dallas. There is a panhandle A's club but they are a little hard to find and not very active. Maybe a google search might bring up something. I know they would love to see a new face.

Re: Side Curtain Rods

I know flat is correct on 30/31 but can't help you on 28/29. A&L sells a great set that even has the original letter codes stamped in them for right front, left front etc

Re: Original Amp Meter ID ?

Re: YOM Plates

Here in Texas, its really easy to use yom plates. The state originally issued two plates, so we still have to use two. Here in Texas, the plates are actually stamped "front" or "rear" even.

Re: Rear Wheel Well Paint Color

Maybe I'm wrong but I think the judging standards says that ford specified the satin black be painted on all the rear wheel wells. However, some assembly plants ignored that and original cars have...

Re: Hershey stickers here!

It's only about 15 minutes away but you can get pretty good room rates in Harrisburg. It's also close to the airport. Three cheers for Hershey!

Re: Open Car door sound deadening

My 30 phaeton has that stuff in the doors. Horse hair? Knowing Henry Ford, wouldn't be surprised if it was a recycled item like protection for parts out of a wood crate. I just stuck small sheets of...
