Re: 1929 Pickup interior

You are preaching to the choir here. I have all of these books and paid full price, not on the secondary market. I still feel that sharing a correct pinstripe placement or correct upholstery grain...

Re: 1929 Pickup interior

This is the correct mentality for this hobby! Thanks for sharing your information rather than trying to hide it from the world.

Re: 1929 Pickup interior

My restoration was also done by a previous owner. Iíve owned it since 2009 and I like the interior whether itís correct or not. Iím not a car show guy, so correctness of the interior isnít important.

His post in your link is from August 14, 2012……not 2021.

Re: Fake, Phony, and False

How many posts does he have? That’s often a key indicator. I also look at previous posts to see what involvement they have on the site.

Re: Michigan license plate

Felix2.com usually has plates for every State. I just looked, but he does not have any 1930 Michigan plates. You might contact him so he knows what you’re looking for. I found mine on a local sale...

Re: Long-shot search

Re: Cost of Running Burtz Engine

Re: newly rebuilt and a knock

I didnít want the name, because Iím not looking for a builder. I just thought 2,500 miles from Chicago was unrealistic. Good luck with your engine.

Re: newly rebuilt and a knock

Is the builder from a foreign country? I couldnít find anyplace in the U.S. that is 2,500 miles from Chicago.
