Re: This is a site for stock restoration.

I love the Ford Barn and though I don't comment often I have learned a lot here. But I don't have time to read every thread. And if it is about something I'm not interested in, I don't look at it....

Re: 30 Coupe. Gonna Have To Raise the Dead

Really nice work. Just my opinion, but I think if you have the talent to repair that body, you should build it into anything you want.

Re: replacing head gasket on model b engine

I would also like to know about the steam holes. I'm wondering if this is why I am getting a slight bit of water in #2 and #3 cyl.

Re: ?? Class Action law suit ??

I got my first job working at an Arco station in 1972. I think regular was about 27.9 / gallon and ethel was 31.9. And you got either S&H green stamps or an Arco glass for 10 gallons or more.

Re: AA truck axel?

The rear axle housing from a 32 BB is wider than one from an AA. I think the internals are the same.

Re: 1930 Model AA Cant Get Her Over 25 MPH

Kane, very nice truck. With 6:00 - 20 rear tires our 32 AAB will run about 45mph, but feels comfortable in the 35 - 40 range. I don't know the mpg but it seems like every time I run her around for a...

Re: Still want Ethanol in your Model A????

There were two stations in my area that had ethanol free gas, and they had customers coming long distances for it. But about a year and a half ago they couldn't get it anymore. I don't know of...

Re: model a sereal number location

The engine # is one the left side of the block just below the head halfway between front and back. Frame # is on top of left frame rail below the cowl.

Re: Farmer fixes

According to a Barner with more knowledge than I have, my 32 BB's fuel pump is a B model bottom with a 34-36 V-8 top. It did work.

Re: Off Topic - Was this the beginning of the downturn of Detroit?

It's not just GM. I have a 99 F-150 4x4 with a 5.4 and 72,000 miles on it. The truck was never in snow till I bought it 2 years ago. The window sticker says 70,000 mile spark plug change. The dealer...
