I found an article about it in old SOSS magazines..college kids set up an A with 18 to 1 compression and a scroll type fuel injection pump and nozzles as part of an engineering program. As I recall...

and to answer part of your question,raising compression raises efficiency.the engine will run cooler than stock

its an old hotrodder trick,the more caster or king pin inclination the less steering effort you have,add enough it will feel like power steering,till it dives into a turn..

Reducing the combustion chamber in size above about 8 to 1 begins to limit how well it can breathe,the chamber is too small. Nothing is really new in model a speed,just about everything available...

In alot of ways it interesting,they used the wagon to test Grumman seaplane designs.This picture was taken during the war, the camouflage netting strung over everything was common at the aircraft...

Reproduction radiators are no where near as heavy and robust as original.Round tube funnel top 28/29 radiators are suitable for construction equipment :) and will stand the vibration and stress...

'79 to '82..nobody shot at me..we did do hurricane recovery and helped build Diego Garcia.Great way to learn a trade,if you put your head down and worked they kept piling it on..2 years in,20 years...
