Re: 8ba/Merc heads ??

EAB heads are higher compression. Went to install only to find block had been decked during machining. Had to revert to Merc heads as slight interference with valves.

Re: 1 wire alternator - battery connection?

I would like to see a sketch of the wiring for 1 wire alternator to starter solenoid as mine has the floor button starter switch. I take it I am not to use the original wire from the generator?

Wow,

Everyone must be at Hershey without their computers. I thought surely I would get all kinds of advice on whether to use a 6v or 12v starter on a 12v system.

Re: Gas resistant paint for tank?

I was hoping someone could recommend a good industrial paint that could be applied before installing the gas tank. It is a Drake tank and has a silver paint or primer applied.

1932-36 3 bolt coil = 40B

1937-41 2 bolt coil (blk) = 11A

1940-41 2 bolt coil (brn) = 68

Does that sound correct or did someone switch parts in...

Also found a '40-41 with brown coil. Any value...
