Re: Steering Wheel Nubs

I am unclear of the question, but On my 31 roadster I do not have any "numbs" in the inner ring, or indents.

The 3 indents are done with the spider at the bottom of the steering column.

Re: Potential for manifold warping?

An opened ended wrench will take that bolt out from the upper left corner. It is very possible though that someone installed the valve cover with a longer bolt than they should have, then installed...

Re: Can't get engine started after changing timing gear

I also don't understand. What is actually happening when you join both wires on a single post?

Re: engine compression

For a good approximate way to get what your number should be, number do this.

14.7x the head ratio number.

Example: 14.7 x 6.1=89.67 psi or 14.7x 4.2=61.74psi.

JD, I can't tell either from the pic. Let me ask you. Does the brake pedal return quickly after you release it?

If it does then the spring is correct.
