Gez,..I don't know, it's hydraulic for the standard transmissions. Same block/
crank set-up for the automatics,..sedan's and E-types. As an after thought,
the Jag's weight more, so the clutch has...

A point of fact,...

Jaguar used this SAME think for many years, well up into the 70's! A 1/2 thrust washer
too control crank shaft end play. The BAD part of this, in the Jag, they ARE NOT pinned....

After numerous e-mails and phone calls, plus reading we came up with "5-5"..
You could use the 4-5, BUT the head is a little small. I understand the shoe kits
are coming with too...

Anyone know the correct "Brake lining rivet" length? You'r choices are..

1. 5-4
2. 5-4.5
3. 5.5

The original wiper has 2 pieces of Black rubber. Go to a supply house that sells
rubber products and cut some.

Well,..either your front crossmember has been modified OR you have a late 1928, you
have the yoke style front motor mount. I guess you could use the repop engine pans..

IS your front crossmember original , with the 2 bolts that pass threw it too the
front cover,...OR dose it have the "yoke" type mount?

Your correct in the fact that it is "unique",...it has a flat at the front of the
pan that bolts too the front crossmember. Us the correct early pan, it looks
better..

Since the input shaft bearing is a "little louse",..not a precision bearing, and
the splines in the disc are a little sloppy, you COULD get the transmission to
bolt up. But it could be loading the...

Herm is correct..

Did you push in the clutch a number of times BEFORE you started the engine the first
time....??

If not, it COULD burn up the thrust and kill the rear main..

That won't work,..the center line of the 3" fork vs the 2.75" is in a different
location....it SHOULD pop-out of gear. I know a fella that did it. Measure the
