i met, and bought packard parts from henry in about 2000, or 2002. he was close to 85 or so then, i'm guessing his packard is parked up yonder by now

never seen one that shape, but i know nothing about canadian motors. us pan, same location, but not open on the bottom like yours, and more of a rectangle shape

your picture missed the area where it should be. but, easy enough, if the pan is smooth all around the front, its the wrong pan. the vent is pretty unmistakable, about 1x2 wide, 2 tall, every pan...

glad you won the battle. when taking a pan off in the car, i like to leave a bolt at all 4 corners screwed out quite a bit until you can feel that the whole pan is loose, then remove the last ones so...

model T spokes we treat with a 50/50 mix of turpentine and linseed oil. it will darken the wood a slight bit, but soaks in good. takes a day or two to dry

40 hubs will go on the 32-34 spindles with a spacer on the inside. richard lecy sells the kit, but i think guys use the bottom race of a steering box as well. the op is trying to run his 32 drums...

the new drums from mt products are only for the "drum over the hub" style. no one that i am aware of makes drums for the later 46 48 "drum under"

the 32-34 shoes are the same diameter, but 1/4" narrower. never heard of it, but if you want to play around and get your wheel cylinders moved out 1/8" so it would center on the shoe, which you would...

32-3-4 have smaller shoes. 35 drum and hub would work, but hard to find good ones. you should be looking for 40 front hubs, as thats the only ones you can buy new drums for
