Re: Missing Valve seat

The Green books shows valve seat inserts for as early as the 33 100HP engine. Seems to me I was told there were some factory A or B blocks that had insert exhaust seats?

Re: Non-Authentic Paint Colors & Schemes

Re: Looking for LED replacement bulbs for tail and cowl lights

I ran the 1129 shown directly off a good battery for my test. 1129 would be for a stand alone brake light in brightness, the one I tested at 6V was more in the dim tail light range.

Re: Electric Lites

Depending on who or what your read, early 1915. Because of issues pressing the new cowl and body panels, there was some carry over of the 1914 bodies for the open cars into 1915. For sure 1915 but...

Re: Steam cleaning engine/trans?

I used one of the small home type steam cleaners(almost worthless but did help a little) and oven cleaner. Lots of scraping, but was able to keep the mess relativity contained in a small area.
