I had a friend that had a 1915 Studebaker, we took out the back seat and there must have been 300 Black Walnuts under the seat. That Squirrel is probably still looking for them.

There was a 48 Merc with no air cleaner. A mouse crawled down the carb ,through an open valve, and made a nest in the cylinder

Check the clutch equalizer shaft.this goes from the clutch pedal linkage to the bell housing.
Mine had a crack in it that would cause a strange clutch release operation. also check the bushings

Very similar device was at the La Salle parking garage in downtown Chicago. The spot the drivers stood on was about 12 inches square.Must have been an interesting ride, as the building was 6 or 8...

Sounds like the guy who worked on my 40. Three different connectors and three different splices and three different gauges of wire in 10 feet of wire.

You could also check an auto parts store for some small plastic clips called "Christmas Tree Clips" due to their appearance. These work well in some uses and dont chip the paint
