I'm probably stating the obvious but,. I don't think there was an advantage because of the change made to put the bearing below the axle. It just makes more sense.

I was looking to find out what the position is of the small key way on the worm gear when it is centered (straight ahead), I figured 6 or 12 o'clock, but need to know which. Thanks, John

anti chatter rod adjustment

Any tips on adjusting anti chatter rods. I put a set on my 32 ford with an 8ba and I would like to know if there should be any force either toward the front or rear for better performance. Thanks John

I think Ken has something, you need to look for a problem on the left side, front or rear. A brake not functioning on one side will cause the opposite side to pull

I would leave the restrictor in place on the inlet as designed, for one on cold start up I would want all the oil pressure I could get going to the internals rather than filling a drained out oil...

I saw that car on ebay and noticed that it didn't have the hole on top of the doors for side curtains. I could be wrong but I thought all the original roadsters had those.
