Re: 1931 Ford roadster original or repro windshield.

I have a deluxe windshield that I bought from snyders. It fits nice and looks good. I do not think it would be cost effective to chrome one unless you were sure it is original and you wanted to keep...

Re: Help: Reverse eye leaf spring problem 34 Ford

Eaton spring makes springs to factory blueprint and custom springs but you would still have cost plus shipping.

Re: spark plugs 59ab

This number is wrong. Only 3/8” reach, need 3/4” For Edelbrock modern heads per the Edelbrock instruction sheet.

Autolite 3924 or Ngk BCP5ES interchange amoung others.

Re: spark plugs 59ab

Edelbrock recomends rc12yc or rc14yc champions or equvalent. 14mm, 3/4” reach, flat gasket,5/8 hex extended nose. I like NGK plugs, but others work fine.

Re: Rear wheel bearings - Timken part number

Most modern replacement bearings have soft end plates and will not last.
The best solution is a good used original Ford or Hyatt bearing.

Check to make sure your air filter in not restricting. Some of the small air cleaners do not flow enough air. You could check by removing filter and see if it helps.

Re: 1930 model A starter 12V conversion

X2. If the starter drive hits the ring gear hard it can move the ring gear forword. I think this is a good reason to use a 12V starter with a 12V system.

Re: 30 'A' Sedan regulator to glass channel

It has been a while since I did mine and I thought it would only go in an end.
Mine was an original channel. Others with more knowledge may chime in.

I found this in Snyders catalog
