1947 mercury 1 ton door glass replacement

I need help putting my door glass in frame as rubber beading kinks @ radius. Seems ok on straight parts . Can you cut beading to get rid of kinks ?

I will stay with cardboard as keeping everything as was. Thanks for help. I will check in the truck tomorrow for that interior light lens ring

thanks. What holds light chrome bezel on ? The headliner was tore off around the light assy. At first the light wont switch on . then after running engine it will switch on. I can see ground wire @...

does one know where to buy cam and weights assy for my 1947 mercury 1 ton ?My distributor cam is worn a little [maybe .005 @ points]. Will this affect my timing? New cam would be the better option...
