if they cant get the seal out. go somewhere else!! as mentioned already make sure you have new ones to replace them. good luck.

so 3-4 lbs. is ok? i sure hope so. ive got 8BA THAT RUNS GOOD BUT WITH MY GAUGE SHOWING 3-4 LBS AT IDLE, I SURE WAS NOT TO HAPPY.ITS BEEN ABOUT 36 YRS SINCE I LAST HAD A FLATHEAD V8.SO IM STILL NEW...

im by no means a expert but id want to go alot farther into that engine.1, to check for more or hidden damage and 2, to see why that crank snapped. ive done that on my sbc. but we are talkin 10.000...
