Look inside the the case where the pinion lives there is a step there that the rear of the pinion race goes against . The front of the race is inline with the machine surface of the case in front.

42 to 48 original Fender skirts -pair
This is a real nice pair of Ford original skirts. They have older maroon paint on them. They are straight with no dents or russ issues. 650.00 for the pair plus shipping.
