Re: B Carb Float Doesn't fit

The new "B" floats are all supplied by the same manufacturer and they don't fit without modification. I would try to repair the original float that you have, or see if you can get a used "B" carb...

Steve: that rubber insulated hanger definitely eliminates any tailpipe vibration from getting to the frame.

Here is a photo of a tail pipe hanger I made for my 30 CCPU. The tail pipe is at the same height as it would be with the original clamp.

I rebuild "B" carburetors. They perform great but they have to be rebuild correctly. This means they should be totally taken apart and ALL the internal passages cleaned and the passage plugs...
