I've also had a couple of sleeved engines with no problems. Just make sure they leave
a step at the bottom of the original bore so the sleeve can't move down.

The Hollander Interchange shows you can use that manifold on 1947-48 H engine
and 1948-51 truck 226 engine by using intake to exhaust manifold studs from the
manifold being replaced.

old dried out gas that looks like shellac in the bowl.

back is the steering wheel centered??

When you have it in gear and the clutch out and the truck is not moving is
the speedometer moving??

I agree with grove truck. The bed on the one I have is 69 3/4" wide.

I think you are overthinking this. Just make a bracket to mount the switch on the
inner fender panel near the battery. Run a short cable from the battery to the switch
and another from the switch...

If you have one of the timing gears as mentioned above the hub can come
loose from the gear.
