Re: spring perches, castle nuts, and cotter keys

I bought one late last year from Snyder's and it fit fine.

While we are in this area, watch out for the off shore shackles also. I bought the USA made ones from Snyder's, don't look original but...

Neil, try Restoration Supply Co. in Escondido, CA https://restorationstuff.com

Gano and Restoration Supply Co. are the same company, have same address.

Re: Instrument Panel Lamp

Here is a picture of the dash light in my Town Sedan.

Re: Jumping a 6 volt battery

Put a 1⅜" socket on the ratchet nut, feed an extension thru the crank hole and hit it with an impact to loosen it.

Re: Jumping a 6 volt battery

Re: Head gasket?

I thought maybe you would trim the gasket since you want to "keep the outer edge clean leaving a crisp white gasket edge" instead of leaving ⅛" of gasket hanging out with sticky Copper Cote on it....

Re: Head gasket?

Just curious. When you spray copper cote on your gasket what do you do about the overhang of the gasket due to the 5.5 head being physically smaller than a stock head/head gasket? I suppose you could...

Re: Touch up Paint for 1930 model A

I have used Krylon 'Buttercreme' with good results on my Tacoma Creme wheels.
