i had the same issue in ny with a 40 ford pickup someone already used the same vin as mine , i went to dmv and they told me to take a picture of the vin,i did and i got the car registered no problem

nice clean manifold w/52 olds carter wcfb carb ,i have no history on this setup but appears the carb has been rebuilt,this is the good intake that keeps the generator centered not offset like...

there is a problem with the repro lincoln ujoints they dont go deep enough and draw the output shaft up tight, find a good used original, u will need to pull the rear to get at the joint

glad you found the problem them radiators aren't cheap i was lucky to find a real nice original one for my 40 runs cool like yours maybe a little cooler as i added a shroud

you cant use fog lights as signals it will burn out flashers too much draw,do you mean parking lights?
