I use a 160* thermostat from one of the Model A parts stores that is welded to a stainless steel tube. I drill out the two bypass holes to 1/4 " diameter...

Not the ideal safety measure, but when someone rides in my rumble seat, I tie the opening handle to the spare tire which is only inches apart when open.
Seat belts should be a must and the padding...

I have always called that housing the bell housing which is bolted to the clutch or flywheel housing which has the mounting attachments to the frame.

Most alternators will put out at least 35 amps immediately after starting.
Install an aftermarket ammeter from Model A parts dealer with 30/30 reading.
They look just like the 20/20 original...

"Back then" when your car wouldn't start, it was pretty common to open the driver door, push the car, jump in and "bump start" it. Not at all uncommon today if you can not recruit a couple of buddys...
