Re: 2013 F 150 Chatter

That "shudder" seems to cross lines.
My wife had a Black 2012 Fiesta that developed that same symptom.
Her solution was to total it and make me buy her a Black 2015 Fiesta. (She was not hurt - it...

Re: Misidentified 60 & 61 Mercury Hubcaps

I read recently that there were some early '58 Fords with a 312 instead of a 292. Not "offered" as an option but as a left over engine. '57 Tbird production run cut off was later in the year than...

Well, from a real redneck in VA to another in Portugal we would say;

Re: Should I pull the trigger?

Years ago I had a '69 Mach I Mustang with power front disc brakes. It had a black "V8" can (at least it looked like that) as a vacuum reservoir.
Is that something that can be added to older cars to...

Re: title/ registration

How is it that no matter what state we live in they seem to be able to find the same kind of people to work in DMV?

Re: Distributor cap/rotor button debris

Re: 57 Thunderbird

Just to add my 2 cents.
The "charging voltage" is determined as Miker stated with the 2nd wire usually attached at the battery terminal on the starter solenoid. That wire is the "voltage sensing"...

Re: Fuel pump

Rui,

All in all, I agree with Brodie that it is less expensive and much less trouble to go with the mechanical replacement.

Re: Fuel pump

From Pg 10 of the shop manual.
"The static pressure should be 3.5 - 5.5 psi at 500 RPM."

Also, it is easier to install if the eccentric is at the top. I don't remember which cylinder should be...

The main consideration is One Wire or Three Wire.

I have also...
