I have used restaurant degreaser available at home depot in 30gallon garbage can. It is a one gallon concentrate. Placed an engine block in it waited a few days and hosed it off.

If it does it again , place your hand on coil and check if it is hot. Defective coils act like that, also check the battery cables. Could be both.

David R, I have used a Bronze rear main thrust washer from Berts. Part #6336 a little pricey but works well.

Working on a fiends Model T , the #4 rod cap was not seated but was torqued tight. It had a slight knock. Reset it and lightly tapped all rod caps for the same sound. T runs great.

Fred93, I would check the lugs on the pulley and collar for damage caused by the movement. I 'm speaking from experience and I went back to a one piece pulley. A little more work but peace of mind....

PalAl, i have a 2 post , 9000 lbs and 14 ft ceilings. Works good on Model A and GMC Sierra but i won't use it on my F350 they are too front end heavy. Good Luck
